At Community Evangelical Church, we offer a variety of classes during our Community Connections Hour to help you grow in your faith and connect with others in our church family. Whether you’re interested in fellowship, Bible study, or video-based lectures, we have a class for you. Our Light Discussion & Fellowship Time is perfect for those looking for easy conversation and a chance to get to know others. Our Video Series class is great for those who prefer to learn through multimedia, with a new video and discussion each week. For those looking to dive deep into scripture, our Discussion-Based Bible Study and Men’s and Women’s Bible Study classes provide ample opportunities for personal growth and relationships with fellow believers. No matter which class you choose, you’ll find a welcoming community ready to journey alongside you in your faith. We also have Sunday School for kids ages birth-senior in high school.
Men’s Bible Study
Room 118
Our men’s Bible study class is a great way to connect with other men from the church while deepening your faith. Led by Buster Killinger and Ron Ulrich, each session starts with light discussion about what’s going on in our lives followed by a time of prayer. We then dive into a book of the Bible with an emphasis on life application. Whether you’re new to Community or a longtime member, this class is a great opportunity to build relationships and grow in your faith.
Video-Based Lecture

If you learn best through videos, our video-based lecture class is perfect for you. Led by Bob Barskey, this class features popular pastors and theologians exploring a range of topics related to faith and spirituality. After each video, we engage in discussion to deepen our understanding and explore new insights. Join us for a great way to deepen your faith and connect with other members of the church.
Women's Bible Study

Looking for a supportive and welcoming space to explore your faith with other women? Our women’s Bible study is just what you need. Led by Kathy Loomis and Jackie Lockard, this class provides an opportunity to grow in your relationship with Jesus while forming deep connections with other women from the church. We welcome your questions and concerns about the Bible and will explore different books together.

Fellowship Hall – Near Side
Join us for a time of fellowship and community over coffee and snacks. Each week, we delve into a different topic or question, providing an opportunity to connect with other members of the church and grow in your faith. Whether you’re new to Community or a longtime member, this class is a great way to build relationships and deepen your spiritual journey.
Discussion-Based Bible Study
Room 119
A class for regular people who are both faithful and flawed. At the beginning of each class, time is spent sharing prayer requests and life updates. This is followed by a time of Bible study, with a heavy emphasis on life application both inside and outside the church. Through this class, deep relationships are formed between members as they learn more about God’s Word.
Book Discussion
Fellowship Hall – Far Side
We are pleased to offer a new class led by Janelle and Nathan Matz beginning February 25. We will be going through the book Enemies of the Heart by Andy Stanley. Each week we will meet together to discuss the reading and how that chapter relates to our lives. Join us as we learn and grow together to become more equipped followers of Jesus. Everyone is welcome, even if you can’t come every week. If you are unable to purchase the book, please let us know.
